The Perfect Endurance Collection

The How

The How?

Hydration and Carbohydrate Loading Plan:

1-2 Weeks Before the Event:

  • Start incorporating Hydrating Electrolytes into your daily routine to maintain optimal hydration and electrolyte balance.
  • Aim to drink at least 2-3 liters (2000-3000 ml) of water daily to ensure you are well-hydrated leading up to the event.

24-48 Hours Before the Event:

  • Increase your fluid intake to 3-4 liters (3000-4000 ml) per day, incorporating Hydrating Electrolytes as needed to replenish electrolytes lost through sweat.
  • Begin using CleanFuel Carbs to enhance carbohydrate intake and energy stores.

On the Day of the Event:

  • Start the day with 500-750 ml of water mixed with Hydrating Electrolytes to kickstart hydration and electrolyte balance.
  • Consume a carbohydrate-rich breakfast 2-3 hours before the start of the event, such as oatmeal or toast with jam, along with a serving of CleanFuel Carbs to boost energy levels.

During the Event:

  • Carry a water bottle mixed with Hydrating Electrolytes to sip on throughout the event, aiming for 120-240 ml every 15-20 minutes to maintain hydration and electrolyte balance.
  • Consume 30-60 grams of carbohydrates per hour through CleanFuel Carbs, energy gels, or easily digestible snacks like bananas or energy bars to sustain energy levels.

After the Event:

  • Continue to drink water mixed with Hydrating Electrolytes to replenish fluids lost during exercise and support post-event recovery.
  • Consume carbohydrates and protein to replenish glycogen stores and aid muscle recovery, considering incorporating CleanFuel Carbs to continue supporting energy recovery.

Note: Adjust the plan based on individual needs, sweat rate, weather conditions, and the intensity of the event. Experiment with different hydration and fuelling strategies during training to determine what works best for you on race day.
